Coordination project

Project coordinator: Univ.-Prof. Dr. M.J. Zehetbauer

The aim of this project is to ensure the coordination of all the activities done within this network.
The strategy of coordination is based on four tools: (i) the organization of workshops to occur at the end of each project year, for exchanging and mutual reports of project results; (ii) the organization of steering meetings after each half project year, to regulate and harmonize the time plans of single projects; (iii) the invitation of renowned guest scientists for updating the knowledge of project scientists and stimulating new research actions, and (iv) the installation and use of electronic tools (NFN website, mailing list, and SKYPE communication).
In addition to the coordinated NFN-wide meetings, the NFN will be substantially backed by frequent mutual working and lab visits of the NFN partners which can be managed on an economical one-day base without overnight stay owing to the short travel distances not larger than 200 km.

We will be using TRAC for Project management tasks. TRAC provides a WIKI, a ticket system and a nice frontend to SVN. All of these will be used for NFN-coordination.
